Faith groaned sarcastically, but laughed anyway. She rolled up her jeans, and hopped into the water. “It. Is. Freezing!!” She girlishly semi-screamed. Faith then ran out, but hurrily ran back in, kicking and spashing with her feet.“Wonderful, cheesy advice. It might be true, but it’s cheesy,” Faith said, moving her hand up and patting Thomas’s head. She took two more Oreos out and gave one to Thomas, dividing them and eating them his way. “Not bad,” She said through a mouthful, just before swallowing.“Well,” Faith sighed, “I guess you’re right. You and Paige definitely aren’t disgusting.” She smiled. “I’ll learn sign language for the wedding, by the way,” She smirked tiredly. She was so comfortable and happy but she refused to fall asleep. It was too early in the day. “Maybe, all I need to do to be happy, is find a deaf guy that is insanely handsome, and then you and me could be on the same page.” She laughed.Thomas sighed and wrapped his arm around Faith’s waist when she leaned on him. “You know, you really shouldn’t listen to anyone else’s opinions except your own. Yeah, Si called him all of that stuff. But she also called mine and Paige’s relationship ‘disgusting’. So no, she isn’t right. Sure Brendan is a bit timid, but he isn’t a bad friend. He’s very loyal, and when the time is right he’ll be there for you!” Thomas explained, leaning his head on top of hers as he looked out to the waves in front of the two.
Thomas chuckled at Faith’s remark. “I’ve already started learning how to sign. Online sites are very helpful.” He said, smiling. “Being happy is a must, but it’s very hard. Sometimes you just have to let life find you. If you try to hard to force yourself into something, it won’t come. But, if you let things find you, you’ll be much more satisfied in the end. Trust me, I know.” Thomas finished, smiling.
“That’s me. Your neverending source of cheesy, yet true advice. It’s kind of my job.” Thomas raised his eyebrows at Faith and smiled. He ate the Oreo her way her scrunched his nose. “How do you eat it this way? I just can’t even.” He said, shaking his head. “Lets go put our feet in the water.” He suggested, standing up and pulling Faith with him.

Alright.Well then fine. I give up. But I thought I was supposed to help you with love, Peter! How do you want me to go about it?Because, Peter. I’m pretty sure— whether you know it, or not— you are in love with her.I am? I can’t just love her, Faith. I’m not really…into love.
Fine, I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I was just asking if you can teach me how to love, not to love Wendy.
“Well,” Faith sighed, “I guess you’re right. You and Paige definitely aren’t disgusting.” She smiled. “I’ll learn sign language for the wedding, by the way,” She smirked tiredly. And that’s what’s got me, Thomas.” Faith leaned her head on Thomas’s shoulder. “I miss him, ya know? I care about him. Always have, always will, no matter what kind of care. And I’m just impatiently sitting here, waiting. I feel like an idiot. Si called him a scrawny ass and clumsy and a suck-ass friend. Is… Is she right, Thomas?” Faith whimpered. She didn’t want to cry over something so stupid, but it was getting hard not to. He did seem like a really bad friend now. But… Faith couldn’t tell if she should defend him or not.Thomas smiled, rolling his eyes at Faith. “I mean, what can I say. Love is in the air.” He sighed, and sat down next to her, crossing his legs indian style. “Thank you.” He said, reaching and taking one of the oreos and opening it, licking off the creme first. “I’ve always done that, you know. It just doesn’t feel right to eat it as a whole cookie.” Thomas shrugged. He looked over at Faith and saw she was kind of out of it. He hated to see her this way, and he knew it was because of Brendan. “What’s got you so down, Faye?” Thomas asked, sensitively.

But… Faith couldn’t tell if she should defend him or not.As soon as Faith heard Thomas, she stood up from the laid-out picnic blanket she had brought and gave him a hug. “Hey,” she smiled. “Mr In-Love. She let go of him to glance around his eyes. “Hm…. Let’s see… Yup. Nothing we can do now. He’s totally wonderstruck.” She giggled, then sat down. She got out of her bag a box of Oreos, her recent favorite snack. “You want some?” She smiled, offering them to Thomas.Faith striped from her pajamas and into some clothes— a pair of jeans and an old sweatshirt— and tied her hair up into a low messy bun, letting strands fall loose around her. She pulled on a pair of shoes, and grabbed a few things and her wallet and stuffed them into her shoulder bag. She sighed,…
Thomas did a little dance around his room like usual as he got ready for the trip out with Faith. He dressed in a pair of jeans, v-neck tshirt, and a navy blue cardigan. After slipping on his plaid toms, he threw a scarf around his neck and grabbed his wallet before heading out the door. Once he was out of the school campus, he took the short walk to the beach, sure that he was running a little later than Faith. Once he was there, he walked onto the sand and sighed, seeing absolutely no people around. There was one person though, and when he saw her he sprinted towards her, a huge smile plastered onto his face.

I’m pretty sure— whether you know it, or not— you are in love with her.You know what? I am going to take you to a resturaunt, and you are going to learn how to get Wendy to be absolutely in love with you.Have you ever thought of, oh, I don’t know— maybe asking her to go to somewhere fancy with you?Wendy? Hmm…She’s an outgoing girl, full of dreams, the girl who could always make me wonder and confused all at the same time.
How should I know? It’s always about fun when I’m with her.
Not that she isn’t already….Why would I want Wend to be in love with me, Faith?

She pulled on a pair of shoes, and grabbed a few things and her wallet and stuffed them into her shoulder bag. She sighed, and headed out to the beach. She hadn’t really gotten to see Thomas much, since he was busy with Paige. Not that she didn’t want to find Thomas finding true love, but she really missed everyone. It felt kind of like she was alone. Everything was changing and it hurt. She grabbed her bike from the garage and biked to the beach. At least it was sunny. And thank God for Thomas.
I’ll see you there!Yes! To the beach!Okay! What places are there?I’m okay. :) You wanna go somewhere? To hang out?Hi Thomas!
Hello, love. How are you today Faye?
Yes, I’d love that. Name a place and we’ll be off.
We could go somewhere off campus? To the beach or something? I know it’s a little chilly, but we don’t have to go in the water.
Yay!
